Outside Service Coordinator
Position Summary:
Carolina Fitness Equipment is expanding its Service Department. The Service Coordinator plays a pivotal role in optimizing technician schedules, tracking service progress and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include scheduling, dispatching and supporting service technicians to ensure efficient and effective service calls. managing logistics, optimizing efficiency, and closely collaborating with various departments to ensure the smooth processing of all service calls from start to finish.

Performance Objectives:
- Manage invoicing, billing, and payment follow-ups
- Prepare quotes for labor, parts, and preventive maintenance
- Assign and schedule technicians based on priority, location, and skill set
- Adjust schedules for urgent requests, cancellations, or delays
- Ensure technicians have the necessary tools, parts, and information
- Act as the main client contact for service requests and updates
- Address customer inquiries and provide timely status updates
- Facilitate communication between technicians, clients, and internal teams
- Track service requests, technician activities, and outcome
- Analyze service performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction reports
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
- Support technicians with troubleshooting and escalate unresolved issues
Capabilities/Key Competencies:
- Friendly and Professional Attitude
- Able to work independently
- Effective under pressure
- Strong communication abilities
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Familiarity with Netsuite is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with Google/G-suite is preferred
- Familiarity with Shepherd is preferred but not required
- Prior experience in the Fitness Industry is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to work Monday - Friday
- Occasional Saturday availability may be necessary
Education & Experience:
- GED or some college coursework is preferred

- Extended periods of desk-based work
